My brother in law is picking me up in about an hour and a half to go to the gun show. I plan on looking for a light to attach to the rail of my shotgun (and possibly a backup Mossberg 500) as well as some more ammo cans, Quick clot, Rifle rack, extra magazines and anything else I can find at a good price.
I will post later this weekend if I find any of this stuff. Judging by recent reports of gun sales I think it will be very crowded and is probably going to be a sellers market so my hopes of finding a good deal are not that high.

2012: ‘The Year of the Scare’
Survival is for those who believe in themselves and mostly from a belief that has never faded over time: “In God we trust.”

Today I ordered more precious metals
With the addition of the Christmas Weapon I wanted to increase the amount I had on hand.
Bulkammo.com had a special running on Federal 9mm 115g FMJ. At 22 cents a round after shipping (and get them delivered to my door) I could not pass this up. I could order the cheaper (dirtier) ammo and may buy some later for trade only, however I will use and practice with the better quality.
Amen Brother!
It really is not that hard to figure it out, but thanks for saying it out loud for the slow ones.
"Couldn't have said it better my ownself"
I would like to know the answers!
Most of them I guess at and a few I think I know.

Articles: Throw 'Em All Out...And Good Riddance!
"We despise professional athletes who bet on their own games." Schweizer tells us. "Why don't we feel the same way about politicians who bet on the outcome of legislation?"

My Christmas Weapon
I have been looking for a smaller 9mm for concealed carry and finally chose the Taurus PT-709. It came with the Bull Dog case and a second magazine for a decent price. I like the slim design and it feels good in my hand with an easy to reach safety.
Below is a video review of this weapon.

Christmas Pistachios
For many years now I have purchased Pistachios once a year during "CHRISTMAS" for those "troops" under me when I was still in security management and for myself as I find them intoxicating and addictive. Normally a product of IRAN I ensure that I buy only those grown in Kaliforinia (still part of America for the time being). I only buy them once a year and this year they have been the most expensive. This is a tradition of sorts for those I have worked with (some not here anymore) and the memory of adding a little something different in your life during this holiday. Tonight I am honoring those I have enjoyed this tradition with in the past, whether they be on this world or in another place entirely, and those with the same spirit of freedom of thought and justified action as once made this country great.
So tonight I am eating these addictive friggin nuts drinking some beer and relaxing while watching a John Wayne movie fest. Got a problem with that?

IMO
Mitch McConnell is one of the best DEMOCRATS that Republicans in Kentucky ever elected!
Screw him, Obama and all of the SOB's we elected to congress. The few House Tea Party candidates we elected are not yet included in the previous statement however we are watching and so far not impressed with them either.

1/12 Global Warming - What the Government isn't telling you 1/12
Scary as hell if it is true! I do not know if you have seen this before as I had not. A friend sent it to me this week and I have watched the entire series which is from 2008. Some of the things they talk about have already come to pass.
It does seem to answer some questions though;
It does seem to answer some questions though;
- Why is the government unconcerned about debt.
- Why is the government not spending money to develop our own oil and gas.
- FEMA camps?
- Defense bill and martial law?
- The Obama's and congress critters spending and partying like nothing else matters that much.
- Mostly silence from the Bush family about this country.
- Our foreign policy (or lack of).
- Iran (they do not know)
- Israel (they know)
- More if I dwell on it which I will not since I am broke and have no control over it anyway.
Today I closed out my retirement account!
I will take what little is left and deposit it in my savings account at the Credit Union. The reasons I did this are:
- To pay taxes at the current rate
- The unstable market is no longer any place to have cash
- I will likely never fully retire
- The cash will be closer at hand
- I may use some of this to increase food and other preps that I think will increase in value
- I pulled everything out at last years peak and it has been sitting there doing nothing for me. At least now I will earn a little interest

Tequila and Coffee
I had a very busy week at work. I am tired, wife feels like she has been ignored, to much crap on my mind to relax or give her the attention she deserves. So this morning I am having tequila and coffee to numb my sorry ass and get me going as I got a lot of crap to do today to take care of the household. No preps so far this week however I still have almost two days to get something! It is Saturday (no work today) and I will do what I frigging can to make some headway.
Update: Wife woke up several hours early and asked me if I had been drinking. I got busted!

Thank God for C-Span
There are avenues for American to get a small glimpse of what goes on in our government, I am guessing maybe 10% will use these avenues to judge for themselves what is actually happening in AmeriKa. I bring this to you because I find this man (Eric the top DOiJ) official one of the most dangerous people in America. A major KUDOS to Rep Jason Chaffetz (R - UT).
If you were the judge what would you surmise from this?
Update: "He resisted being sworn IN" I wonder why?

You Might be a Terrorist If....
You have more than 1 six pound jar of your favorite peanut butter on the pantry shelf.
Told you I was going to have some fun with this!
Iran: The plot thickens
Here are a couple of good articles about what is taking place in Iran. There is a lot going on over there that we hear little about in the MSM. It took me a long time to realize that what goes on around us, even globally, can have a direct effect on our daily lives when the repercussions reach us.

A Kentucky Funeral
I travel throughout a lot of Kentucky for work and the writer of this article has nailed the description of what is disappearing from our country today. There are still many Amish communities scattered all over and since they are totally disconnected from the MSM they have remained good neighbors and part of a faithful community. This is how we were taught to behave growing up. Most folks were undivided by race, religion or creed with respect and caring for those around us in a time of need.

Wake Up!
I went to High school with the writer of this article and have had disagreements with him about his liberal views on Face-book. I even warned him in 2009 we needed to vote them all out for stealing our liberties (He thought I was nuts back then). Looks like another light bulb just came on inside the beltway!
