Brutal week for Obama

And even from this source it is still NOT FUNNY!

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/mar/29/hurt-was-week-was-obama-style/

Oh My Lord!

I just spent part of my morning watching these videos (link below) of a movie I had not heard about. I have sat on the fence to long about this issue and have now been knocked off by the actors real people that brought this cinematic feature into my consciousness. I WILL PAY TO SEE THIS MOVIE! And if it is reproduced I will buy it!

If you do nothing else this weekend watch the videos at this link. Hollywood and the MSM critics have tried to destroy it but it is breaking records for showing both sides of this controversial subject.

Operation HOT MIC!

Congratulations!

To
WIRECUTTER and MISS LISA on their upcoming nuptials tomorrow.

I sent them a gift last weekend and he promised to give Miss Lisa a peck on the cheek for me after the wedding.

Stop by and wish them both well! I am sure he would appreciate your patronage for the visit to his very fine blog. And while you are there drop a dime on him (Hint CG's Bone fund) as he is a working stiff too and these weddings are frigging expensive!

My CCDW

This week I stopped by the Sheriffs office and picked up my new card so I am good in this and reciprocating states for the next five years. Kentucky not only runs a NCIC check upon renewal but I believe also runs them monthly so I am doing my part in increasing the stats for gun owners. That alone is worth the $60 to freely exercise my second amendment rights.

Good news this morning!

As long time readers know I was out of work for two years after losing my job in Columbus. I could not find work there or sell my house and ended up moving back to Kentucky. I signed a lease purchase agreement on the house with a young military family last April. Within three weeks of moving back home I was employed again (at 2/3 the salary of the job in Columbus) and able to pay the bills again as my retirement was all but gone. During this time I developed hypertension and almost stroked out before going to a doctor.

I moved back in my house in Louisville (I moved my mother in law into it rent free when we bought the house in Columbus) as I had made both mortgage payments for four years. K and I lived in the basement until the mother in law moved out late last year. The hypertension is now under control through twice daily meds and next month will be one full year of gainful employment.

This morning I received an email from the realtor and the family is starting the financing process to purchase my house in Columbus hoping to close in April or May. The housing market is still very bad but the lease agreement locked my loss in at 20k. If I tried to sell today it would be worse. I have worried about the double mortgages if this did not go through and have feared foreclosure and bankruptcy. I still own the house here in Kentucky and, unlike the house in Columbus, I owe less than I could sell it for now.

This news should help my blood pressure and allow me to better concentrate on more immediate needs and preps. Work is going well so far as we are very busy and it looks like I will have an opportunity to generate some good commissions. I doubt I have time to find and purchase some rural property however the option will now be a possibility after this sale.

Thank you LORD for watching over this wretched working stiff that wants only to earn his own way, pay his own bills and be left alone to prosper or fail on his own merits.

In between laundry and the NASCAR race

I managed to get some grapes re-planted in larger pots. I also got some onion, broccoli, beefsteak tomato and poppy seeds planted in a tray with seed starter mix. Hopefully these will do well and we will not have the torrential rains we had last year causing me to start over again in in June.

I ordered this!

After reading the entire Executive Order -- National Defense Resources Preparedness the president signed last Friday.

This executive order, published on the White House website yesterday, gives the Obama regime power to take over . . . pretty much EVERYTHING, including agriculture, labor, energy, transportation (both interstate and intrastate) and commerce IN PEACETIME and NON-EMERGENCY conditions. Read it. Just commit a half hour and read the damn thing.

So as I was taking K to get her hair trimmed.

We were driving in the car and she stated that OBAMA (whom she voted for) was the anti-Christ! For those of you who do not know K is half blind and I do all the driving as she has not been able to drive for years.

For a little background she has not forgiven me (so far) for bitching at her for cancelling out my vote. I voted for McCain hoping for a heart attack along about February. We have not talked politics much since as it led to problems with her and her staunchly democrat (because that was the way she was raised) MSM worshiping mother who lived with us for a while. She has made a few statements since then as the Hope & Change Kool-Aid wore off slowly over time however I have considered it bait to another argument and never responded.

Back to the car, after her statement I said nothing. She continued stating that there is Evil and Good forces fighting for control of this country and that HE is the devil incarnate and is trying to destroy things. And HE WAS NOT BORN IN THIS COUNTRY!

It was sunny outside and the Bradford Pear trees lining the street were in full bloom as I looked over at her and said "Happy St. Patrick's Day!".

THE LOOK = PRICELESS!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Start off the day with some bacon

Add some eggs

And biscuits scones

Then for Lunch

And finally Dinner!

AWESOME!

Just watched this and had to post!

I am tired!

It has been very busy at work, not a lot of sales the last four weeks but lots of quotes and demonstrations (which lead to more quotes). I have been traveling my new territory and trying to maintain existing at the same time. It is a lot of effort that is wearing me down. I have tried to keep up with everything here on the webs but have not posted or commented as often as I would like.

This week I was back in Western Kentucky on Monday and Tuesday and have meetings booked the whole week. I will need to put in some Over Time this week & next week to get caught up. I do not mind if it leads to sales however my posts may be few for next week and I wanted to give my three followers a heads up.

I am very busy (being currently employed) so I want to make it last as long as possible before an event as the cash will further my preps. I am in a frigging hurry as time is running out fast and I have way to much to do. I am not college educated however I am grateful for being self educated (except for the  Wordsmith Skills), and not indoctrinated by the left wing educational system.

In short please forgive if posts are lacking. I have much I would accomplish if I had the monetary means however I am a working stiff and must do the best I can with what I have available.

I have been following PATCOM reports and I am severely interested in this movement. In my AO the closest person I have had contact with is Dio although the extreme wordsmith TL may be little closer to me ( I have not reached out to him).  The principles are the same regardless of physical locations.

I understand an agree with with these posts however I am tied down by family obligations and matrimony that prevent me (at this time) from joining the festivities and camaraderie with fellow patriots at Patcoms.

Making The Sale

The sales process is like trying to get a cat to like you. First you have to prove you are not a threat to them or out to trap/harm them and that you only want to assist them in securing their needs and desires. Then you have to figure out where they itch or like/need to be rubbed. Once you find that spot it must be scratched/stroked/rubbed in the fashion that produces the desired effect. You must be very careful to to produce only the exact amount of pressure/stimulation or you risk the claws and teeth coming out. This insight as a cat owner has helped me succeed in various markets with both male and female felines as well as male and female decision makers in the purchasing process.

I think that this aspect of feline and human behavior can cross many lines and be useful to those that can understand and implement the delicacies of this art form.  Most of it entails listening/observation skills and the inept ability to apply the appropriate response based on the factors demonstrated from the subject.

This skill can be invaluable for post TEOTWAWKI in barter situations as well as sensing the claws/bullets coming out. Just an honest thought/observation based on working my ass off to make a buck so I can feed me and mine.

Keep It Simple Survival has posted a report.

I hope everyone had a good time and all get home safely. Sounds like the weather was a small problem however it went well.

Just watched this!

Thank god for this man! Makes a slightly overcooked steak seems trivial so I sent this to K's Facebook, when she logs on she will probably cry for them.

Man goes to record tornado, saves two lives!

I think I am OK now!

Got up before K this morning and made scrambled eggs with milk and cheese, biscuits with sausage/milk gravy, bacon and plenty of coffee. So far she seems to be pleased so I am now doing my laundry for work next week. Race comes on at 2:30 and I will still be doing laundry but at least I got the TV in the basement!

It can be hell when you do not grill your woman's steak to perfection however this time it was not that bad only a little more cooked than than blood gorged red that she likes to see inside.

I am in trouble help me please!

I started the baked potatoes on the grill and got a little irritated at the Mexican music coming from the apartments behind me in the building to the left. It had been going on for about an hour so I called LEO. Forty five minutes later I started the steaks and it was still going on. Several minutes later the apartment directly behind me started playing music out the window to combat the Mexican music. I called LEO back and told them that there was now a battle of Mexican verses African American music between two apartment buildings behind my house. This time within ten minutes the LEO's showed up, in the meantime the Mexicans heard the other music and got smart and shut theirs off. The officer that showed up called out to who had called and I responded from my back yard. He heard the music still being played from the window of the apartments directly behind my house and after (fucking marking me) directly advised the "individual to cut that sh*t out". And all the music was stopped.  It was now quiet and I could get back to my the steaks. K's steak was now overcooked and I have still not heard the end of it as she was REALLY looking forward to something we have not been able to afford in a while!

Fu*k me running, and fuck TPTB. As much as I try I am always thwarted in achieving my goal by powers outside my control.

This weeks preps!

Been a Very Long, Busy, week at work. One of my tax checks came in so I deposited it this week. The last two days have been hectic weather-wise although not the Storms I was talking about it was very bad around here. I traveled down to Campbellsville yesterday morning on Interstate 65 going about 22 mph with my flashers on because I could not see more that about 25 feet in front of me due to wind and HEAVY rain. As I passed through Hodgensville I saw a warehouse completely destroyed by a tornado on Thursday (I took some video as I was driving by and will post if I can figure out how to get it off the phone). The weather service was predicting a worse round of storms that afternoon. Luckily I made it home about a half hour before they hit Louisville. The worst to the north and south of us. K was already in the basement with the preps which we fortunately did not need this time. Indiana just north was VERY hard hit (condolences to those who lost loved ones). We were extremely fortunate this time.

Today I got outside early and began to work as I cleared some weeds from the fence line around the garden  and turned over the shredded  leaves I had heaped over it. I also cut down a 5 inch diameter limb from a crab apple tree that was hanging over my shed (Tree was dying and this was the last big branch). After this I pulled the dead battery from K's John Deere LA125 mower and replaced it with a new one. While I was at Lowes getting the new battery I also picked up 4 more 5 gallon buckets for all the rice, sugar, flour and beans that I got from Sam's a while back.

After I got the JD backed out of the shed I had room to get to the garden supplies I purchased earlier so I spread the 10-10-10 fertilizer and garden lime on the garden. Hopefully the weather will cooperate next weekend and I can till it under.

 Next I went to AutoZone with a $20 Off purchase over $100 coupon and bought the following;
  • 4 way lug wrench
  • 2 1/2 ton jack in plastic case
  • Marine battery
The wrench and jack are for the 68 chevy that did not have any when I bought it.

The battery was for my original Solar Panels that I have powering my shed. This makes three batteries in parallel now for higher AmpHours.

Lastly today I went to K Rogers to get K's meds refill and purchased two $10 T-Bone steaks and some very large baking potatoes to celebrate being alive for now. I will be firing up the grill in about 45 minutes.

Surviving Obama’s reelection

"Continue on with everyday life wherever you call home, but begin expanding outward for the arrival of that day when you have to draw your wagon into the circle.  Hope for the best but expect the worst in coming elections, but force your thinking well beyond them in spite of the Information Overload coming from the media.
The time for complaining is over, the time for survival is now."
