Saving some cash by not giving it to our local government.


I am buying one of these as I am getting tired of stomping my beer cans and the wife's soda cans. For years I have thrown them in the recycle bin not thinking about it. I have about three and a half lawn and leaf bags full now and will take them to the recycle center close to work soon.


 From what I have been told I think one bag will pay for this. I will let you know after I make the first trip.

    Aluminum cans here in Kalifornia fetch 2 bucks a pound. With uncrushed cans I make about 10 bucks per garbage bag and crushed brings in about $25 a bag.
    So no, I don't waste the effort to crush them - just rinse and into a garbage bag.
