My new wood stove. Updated!



For less than $100!

I got the barrel used for $25 and picked up the BSK1000 Barrel Stove Kit from US Stove Company for around $50. The Kit contains legs, door, flue collar with damper, and all mounting hardware. Just cut the holes to match and screw or bolt it together.

VOGELZANG also makes a kit for around the same price.

    Get the top barrel kit.

    Lots more heat.

    And use sand or refractory bricks in the bottom, or you'll burn the bottom out very fast.

      I have it but have not installed it yet and I do have the fire bricks lining it.
